Ben Murray-Bruce Loses Wife To Cancer

Evelyn Murray-Bruce, the wife of Nigerian politician, Ben Murray-Bruce is dead after a long battle with cancer. Taking to the social media platform, Ben Murray-Bruce, revealed that his wife died of  cancer , after the pair had been married for 41 years. Sharing pictures of the late Evelyn Murray-Bruce, he wrote; “I’m broken. Just lost my beautiful wife to cancer. She was my best friend for 43 years and my wife for 41 years. Cancer is real, but it shouldn’t be a death sentence – awareness, and early detection and treatment are key to survival. I miss her so so much. I’m broken. “Our children are devastated, I am too. But I have to be strong for them. Please put our family in your prayers. Like the sun, my wife was a blessing and touched the lives of everyone she met. “Though she’s gone, she’d remain alive in our hearts forever.”

Buhari’s Daughter In Self-Isolation After Returning From UK

One of President Buhari’s daughters is on self isolation after she just returned from UK. In a series of tweet from the wife of the president, Aisha Buhari, she stated that she is on Self Isolation, not because she displayed any symptoms of the  Covid-19 , but based on the advice of the Hon. Hit And Run Truck Driver Crushes 3 Women To Death In Rivers State

Tragedy as three women were reportedly crushed to death by a hit and run truck driver in the early hours of Wednesday at Oyigbo in Oyigbo Local Government Area of Rivers State. yemicole  learnt that the tragic incident happened at the popular Ukwube market where hundreds of women converted some part of the road as a makeshift stall to display their wares. It was also learnt that the incident occurred around 5:30am in the morning when the driver of the truck pulled a reverse gear and rammed its tyres on the victims, killing them on the spot. According to report, the driver of the vehicle reportedly took to his heels after the incident occurred, abandoning the  victims . Reacting to the tragic incident, the Police Public Relations in the state, DSP Nnamdi Omoni confirmed the incident. Omoni said the police are on the trail of the driver of the vehicle. Nigerian Man Accuses SARS Officers Of Assaulting His Mother And 2 Siblings After Bashing Their Car

Some operatives of Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) have been accused of assault by a Nigerian man. He accused them of assaulting his mother and two siblings after hitting their car. While narrating the incident, the Nigerian man with Instagram handle @Gee_Marshal accused the Lagos security  operatives  of getting infuriated after his mother whose car they bashed, snapped back at them after they (SARS operatives) booed and insulted her after the incident. He further revealed that his cousin who is also a victim of the incident, has been hospitalized after being punched and beaten with horsewhip by the SARS officers. COVID-19: CAN direct churches to conduct online, house cell services

The  Christian Association of Nigeria  ( CAN ) has directed churches in the country to conduct services online or use house cell based service. It also asked the churches to observe March 22 and March 29 as days of prayers against the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in Nigeria and globally. CAN President, Samson Ayokunle, in a statement signed by his Media Assistant, Adebayo Oladeji, on Thursday, advised all churches to follow the guidelines for combating COVID-19 in all gatherings. He noted that ban on the presence of more than 50 people in a gathering had been placed by most state governments. Mr Ayokunle said where possible, particularly for churches who do not have online system, services can be broken into shifts of not more than 50 members in each shift. “CAN has called on all churches in the country to set aside March 22 and 29 apart to pray for an end to Coronavirus Pandemic in Nigeria and all over the world. “Our prayer points should be that God should stop the
